Principal Documents and Chronological Table of the Foreign Affairs of Japan (Volume Ⅰ-Ⅲ)

This book is a sequel to Chronological Table and Documents on Japanese Foreign Policy (two volumes), edited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1955 and covering the period from the end of the Tokugawa Period to the end of World War II. This detailed volume covers the postwar period to 1980. It was edited with the cooperation of Katsumi Usuï and Manabu Hamaguchi who edited the original book in 1955.

This book is a collection of documents covering the period 1981 to 1992 and follows the publication of three earlier volumes covering the period 1941 to 1980. The documents in this book were compiled with the cooperation of specialists and researchers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
